My friends have told me that talking about Jamie's death is okay to do. It actually helps me through the grieving process. So, here I am blogging, with great hope that others join in, and give me the sense that I am not alone.
Jamie was a huge part of my life, and will continue to be for the rest of my days on this earth. There isn't a day that does not go by where I do not think of him. However, I do know that he is happy, and free of all of his ailments on the other side. If you have read Jamie's story on this website, then you know the impact that he had on the lives of others. Jamie persevered because he had a family, friends, and caretakers that cared, and pushed him to be all that he could be. He might not have liked doing the things that were put in front of him but in the long run it made him who he was until the day he died. We are coming up on his one year Heavenly Anniversary on the 16th of July, and going to celebrate his life once again by having our first fundraiser. It has been very busy the last six or seven months creating this organization. I have some great people on the board, and with them Jamie's Crew 22 will be successful. I miss my son every single day, please feel free to post and never ever stop looking up! Michelle
